Form I-9 is Expiring: What You Need to Know

August 28, 2019

The Form I-9 is set to expire this week on August 31, 2019. Employers should continue using this version of the form until USCIS releases a new version.

Best Practice Tip: To ensure you are always using the latest version of the form, employers should always go to USCIS.gov/I-9 to access the latest issued version of the Form I-9.

When the new form arrives, we will be doing an update webinar. Be on the lookout for this!

In the meantime, to ensure compliance and to follow ICE best practices, anyone involved in the hiring process should participate in annual I-9 training. If you or any other professionals at your company still need to complete training, see our webinar options HERE
