Curricular Practical Training (CPT)

Pitfalls for Employers

FORMAT: Live Webinar, Available Nationwide
Date: July 2nd|10:00 AM CDT
COST: $249.99

One of the ways in which US employers employ international personnel is CPT, Curricular Practical Training.  Its use presents landmines for both employers and international personnel.  DHS has recently begun focusing on enforcing policies related to F-1-related Employment, particularly those related to Curricular Practical Training (CPT) requirements. DHS is challenging CPT in cases involving petitions for H-1B and change of status from F-1 to H-1B.
We will discuss CPT employment requirements based on current regulations, as well as how USCIS challenges CPT employment and maintenance of valid immigration status in latest RFEs and denials. This training will cover common mistakes associated with the F-1 CPT employment and guide employers on how to successfully employ students in this status.
Join Business Immigration Attorney Mira Mdivani of Mdivani Corporate Immigration Law Firm and Miha Britt of Britt Immigration Law at 10:00 am on July 2nd for an in-depth discussion of what employers need to know about F-1 Employment proper arrangement and policy.

** $249 per participant.  Corporate group rates and discounts for additional participants available by emailing  Each Paid participant will receive a training certificate after completion of the class.
