PROGRAM SUMMARY

The two-day, I-9 Auditor training is an intensive course that trains individuals how to become an I-9 auditor. It is recommended for attorneys, HR, and compliance professionals who are charged with conducting internal audits of their company's I-9 employment verification forms. Day 1 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Is a detailed overview of applicable law, current government work-site immigration enforcement, and an overview of the internal I-9 audit process. Day 2 (8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.): Trainees will learn how to audit I-9s. These two days of training are followed by a 30 day training period during which the trainees will audit up to 50 of their company's I-9s under supervision of an expert, how to work with I-9 Administrators on how to make corrections, and learn how to prepare I-9 audit reports. Trainees receive: training materials, complimentary lunch on Day 1 and 2 of training, and instructions and supervision from a leading expert in the field.
